Sichuan Professional Art Institute Performance Troupe
The success of this troupe is based on the energy of its young members and the experience of its older members. The troupe collaborates to create high-quality variety style performances.

The troupe’s works include classic Sichuan Opera pieces “Pi Jin’s Rolling Lamp”, “Hua Rong Hunts Eagles” and “Highlights from Sichuan Opera”; dance works “Joy Skirts”, “Moonlit River in Spring” and “Pretty Girls”; acrobatic pieces “Three Little Monks” and more.

Exciting works by beautiful and talented performers come together in programs like the troupe’s “Variety Night” and make for a memorable evening, fully reflecting the glory and wonder of Chinese regional folk culture!

The troupe is headed by the headmaster of Sichuan Professional Art Institute Lin Geer and the Plum Blossom Prize winner Xiao Demei.

In recent years Sichuan Professional Art Institute has sent performance groups to more than 20 countries and regions such as The U.S, England, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Japan, Hong Kong and Macao -- where they have thrilled enthusiastic and appreciative audiences at every venue.

Tickets for the March 1, 2010 show are available at
Brandon's Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium box office.
